LGP-30
The LGP-30 was a small drum-memory computer, built by Librascope and sold by Royal McBee from 1956. It was about the size of an office desk and plugged into an ordinary wall socket. This section lets you program an emulation of it.
- IDE: write and assemble programs.
- Debugger: run them, one step at a time if you like, and watch the registers, memory and drum.
- About: the machine and its history.
- Binary: what you need to know about binary to follow the machine, and where to learn it.
- Programming: how to write programs for it.
- Calculator: convert numbers between decimal, octal, hexadecimal, binary and the LGP-30's own fixed-point form.
If you have never programmed a drum machine, start with Programming, then open one of the examples in the IDE.
